The Boston Bruins Academy Coaches Symposium is next Saturday, Nov. 4 beginning at 7 a.m. at Warrior Ice Arena in Brighton

The event, in which the Bruins Academy teams up with USA Hockey, will offer Level 2 & 3 Certification training. The event is free to attend, although coaches looking to gain USA Hockey certification must pay USA Hockey the requisite fee.

The Bruins host Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals that night at 7; in the past, the Bruins' morning skate has occurred concurrently with the symposium. Guest speakers in the past have included former Bruins head coach Claude Julien. Breakfast has also been served in prior years.

All high school coaches are encouraged to attend the event. If you are not yet a member of the MSHCA, you will be able to sign up at the symposium.

Note that the MSHCA will be holding its November Executive Board Meeting following the event at a location to be announced nearby Warrior Ice Arena.
