Burlington vs Hingham: These teams matched up during the regular season and the result was a 3-0 Burlington victory. The Burlington victory was in the middle of their impressive 10-game winning streak. Burlington finished the year 14-4-4, the best winning percentage out of the four play-in game teams. Burlington capped off their regular season with a Cahoon Cup Championship, with the overtime win over Framingham. Hingham finished with a 12-7-3 record and finished second in the Buddy Ferreira Classic.

Framingham vs Reading: Reading and Framingham have not met during the regular season, but this game holds a lot of potential. Both teams play some of the hardest schedules in the state for public schools. Framingham has been flirting with the top half of the rankings all season long and finished with a record of 14-5-3. Reading got hot at the right time this year as they made their case for the Super 8. They finished their impressive season with a record of 11-5-6. They capped off the Buddy Ferreira Classic with a win Arlington Catholic, after their second-round overtime loss to BC High.
