BC High vs Hingham Recap (Buddy Ferreira Championship)

The Buddy Ferreira Championship between Hingham and BC High held a lot of promise as both teams are expected to be included in this years Super 8 tournament. BC High looks to go for 5 consecutive Buddy Ferreira Championships in a row. Starting in goal was Jake Wilson for Hingham and Tom Kiesewetter for BC High.

The first period action started in a hurry as a BC jumped on a loose puck in front of the Hingham net and nearly took the lead 10 seconds into the game. The first penalty of the game went to Hingham, who killed it off. BC High took the next penalty that lead to the first goal of the game. Matt Keohane created the turnover in the neutral zone while shorthanded and gained the Hingham zone and went top shelf beating the goaltender. The game entered the second period with a score of 1-0.

The second period opened the game up a little bit as BC High gained even more momentum. Early in the period BC High created a turnover in front of the Hingham net and Brian Bulger fired home the loose puck. Not too long later, BC High was on the board again. This time Colin Norton found a loose puck in a scramble and buried it to make the BC High lead 3-0. Hingham tried to get on the board with a 2 on 1, but they fired a shot wide after getting the goaltender out of position. The game continued to be dominated by BC High and they grabbed the final goal of the game to finish this one with a score of 4-0. BC High is once again your Buddy Ferreira Champions.
